Hello

Hi! I'm Sheri;  a mom to 2 young adults and wife to my high school sweetheart for 25 years.  I live in a small Central Illinois town, where I provide Doula services to the surrounding areas.  In my spare time, you can find me going to modern Bed & Breakfast and antiquing with my husband.  This always includes checking out the local cupcake bakery, even if that means going way out of the way.  I have a huge sweet tooth; I love to bake and gift my sweets to others.  I grew up in a large family, worked as a nanny, and have spent the last decade in health care. 

My heart is most happy when I am serving others.  This is only part of what makes my job as a Doula so fulfilling.  Providing support to families during their journey gives me such joy.  I have attend almost 100 births and each one teaches me something new about birth.  Each family that welcomes me into their birth space is incredibly special to me.  I love creating long lasting bonds with the families I serve.  Being invited to birthdays, getting videos of their first steps and being one of the first people they tell they are pregnant literally makes this job so special.
