As your Doula, I will support you in your birth journey, whatever that may look like.  Everyone's journey looks a little different, and that's what makes it so unique and special!  I will be there to provide both physical and emotional support  for you, as well as for your partner. Picture me as your personal assistant, one who knows all of the techniques to get your baby to move into position, who captures the pictures that you will look at and relive your birth for years to come.  I will be the one to hold your hand, suggest different positions, support your partner as your share this journey together.  I am the one that you want supporting you on your big day.  As your Doula, I am dedicated to make you feel empowered, loved and supported throughout this journey! As your Doula, it is my honor to be able to serve you in whatever way that ends up being!

Birth Doula
$1,500.00

  • Two prenatal visits to assess your needs and desires for birth, define and understand our expectations of one another, and provide you with useful tools for labor and birth.  

​

  • Education about pregnancy, labor, delivery  and postpartum. As well as basic newborn care.   

 

  • Birth preference assistance to help you clarify your preferences for birth and explain the options that are available to you

 

  • Continuous physical, emotional, and informational support to you and your partner for the duration of labor and birth, to help the you move towards the vision you created for your baby's birth

 

  • Unlimited phone, text, and e-mail support after 38 weeks to answer your questions and offer suggestions and support throughout pregnancy and early labor. Prior to 38 weeks I will be available from 8 am to 5 pm for non-urgent needs.

 

  • One postpartum follow-up visit with in one week of delivery to celebrate the birth of your baby and answer any questions you have during the early postpartum period

  • Photos and or video of the labor, delivery and your first moments together.  These photos will be delivered to you in a private gallery within two weeks of birth.

NOTE: Births outside of 50 mile range of Congerville are subject to an additional $175.00 travel fee.  This is based off on your address.

       Enhanced Doula Services Package - $1,700.00

  • All services in the Basic Doula Services Package

 

  • 12 hours (maximum of 3 visits) of postpartum Doula Services. Help providing emotional and physical recover after birth, light housekeeping, running errands, sibling care, and assistance with newborn care.

NOTE: Births outside of 50 mile range of Congerville are subject to an additional $175.00 travel fee.  This is based off of your addresss.  

      Premium Doula Services Package - $2,000.00

  • All services in the Basic Doula Services Package

 

  • 2 overnight shifts of postpartum care (16 hours total)

 

  • 2 daytime shifts of postpartum care (8 hours total)

 

NOTE: Births outside of 50 mile range of Congerville are subject to an additional $175.00 travel fee. This is based off of your address.

      Additional Services-Postpartum doula care

 Parents need nurture and support as they settle in with their babies. Postpartum doulas fill an important role in providing emotional, physical, and evidence­-based informational support to the new family after the birth of a baby. 

 

    What does a postpartum doula do?  

Every day as a postpartum doula can look different.  One day I  can take a big brother/sister  to the library for some special one-on-one time while mama and baby slept. I wash dishes, fold laundry, snuggle babies to sleep, sweep the floor.   I make dinner, take the night shift so mom and dad can get a good night’s rest, support mamas through difficult recoveries, bake muffins with siblings.  bounce colicky babies so mom and dad can take a walk and reset.   I will support you as you navigate life through the fourth trimester.

      

      I have my partner why do I need to hire you?

I am a natural caregiver. I have spent my whole life caring for others.  I see it as a gift that God has given me.  I see people who need help and I am the first one to their side.  I see needs and get them taken care of. I love well and want to help make this transition as easy as possible for your family. Having a baby is stressful enough,  without all the extras that come up in life! I want to come surround you and make you feel loved and supported.  The best part of having a postpartum doula is that it gives the partner a chance to rest and recharge as well as the mama.  Partners are often the ones trying to hold the household together while mama is recovering.  Having a postpartum doula gives them the chance to catch their breath , pause and enjoy their baby while someone else takes care of the household need!

  • Daytime postpartum care- $40.00 per hour (4 hour minimum requirement)

 

  • Over night postpartum care-$60.00 per hour (8 hour minimum requirement)  
    If you are not a previous client, I must meet both partners before I will commit to overnight postpartum care. 

 

NOTE: Jobs outside of 50 mile range of Congerville are subject to an additional travel fee.
